This is the promotional picture for rapper Drake's album Thank Me Later. With the date of release and parental release sign attached to it, the poster is very clear information-wise. Due to his huge following by rap fans before a first album was released, the picture is not weighed down with needless words and has just the vital information. The image of Drake imposed on the red and whit bankground resembles the cover of an old book especially with the vintage style of the picture.

This is the advert for Leona Lewis' album 'Echo'. The title of the album is missing on this picture but it contains the information that the album is out for release and signposts the buyer where to purchase it.
It features a picture of Leona Lewis in quite a different image looking more made up but has an elegance to the design with neutral grey and silver tones. This builds on the reputation Leona has of elegance.

This is the album advert for Duffy's album 'Rockferry'. It is the same as the cover of the album making the record recognisable to potential buyers. The date of release plus the two singles which have already been successful are included on the advert to remind the viewer of the tracks. This enables a listener who enjoyed the music to put a face to the songs if they did not know the name of the artist beforehand.
